Let's hope this is only the beginning! See how it does there and then proceed accordingly. Though I do notice that it didn't chart in Australia so the decision to make it a single there is a bit odd but I'll take it. We need a summer-ready song for this time of year and HBDUWM is the most obvious one and it's one of the best charting album tracks so it makes sense. If it can be a summer single followed by GOE around autumn time for that darker vibe, then I can be happy with this album's single choices.

I dislike Taylor as much as you but this song sounds like Taylor when she's at her guilty pleasure best and I don't mind her when she does this sound. It's so weird of me to like it but I just do and I don't see it as Gaga reducing her artistry at all.

I wish I could do the same with Blade of Grass  Actually it just did anything for me on the first listen, I even thought it was somehow cute, but eventually I started to dislike it, idk why... Now I always skip it.

On The Beast, I really love it, I think it should be the last song on the album. I don't see it as a single but I'd love those visuals from Coachella to leak.

And on the next single, I don't know what to think. She doesn't seem to know what to do either, like SOAM, VIY, GoE, Killah, HBDUWM... All of them could be the actual next single and maybe they are waiting for the GP to "choose" one clearly.

Vanish will be absolutely huge in Europe.  The synths. The Bowie esque verses, the bad romance bpm and similar chorus. Folk in Europe like anthems that they will sing loudly together and dancing like mad  at gigs and pubs. Unlike Americans who just stand there with their phones. It would be wasted there.

the way i signed up for a lip sync battle with abracadabra bc it's during pride month and i know the crowd will go insane for it (plus i know the dance after studying it for a month)

The song has honestly grown on me a lot. 

But I think Vanish Into You would be an excellent single. 
Followed by Shadow Of A Man, or Garden Of Eden.
