It's definitely not exactly the same. Many of the performances just won't work based on what we know about the stage for these shows (Poker Face, Perfect Celebrity, Disease). The Coachella performance was very clearly designed to work best on camera, and you can't use that same approach for a show where you're performing in a stadium. She'll likely borrow a lot of elements, but I expect the stadium shows to be slightly different to Coachella and the arena shows to be slightly different to the stadium shows.

I don’t think that’s true. All of those performances work. Just remember we got Alice at CBT. I mean. With stadium shows at some point you will be looking at the screen at some point anyways. Poker face is fine as well since we have the bleachers. I think that’s we might get a catwalk to the square stage with the LED, but we will have to wait for the stage set up in Mexico to see if it happens.

The plot thickens omg :eww:

Will the MAYHEM Ball be different? It should be? But the Coachella setup is SO good, who would mind it being done again :ohwell:

BUT! During her Coachella show, at some point she talks about how she wanted to show her love to the audience by building an opera house in the desert. This makes me think the opera house, the Coachella show is a concept created FOR Coachella, otherwise, why would she word it like that?

To me it definitely sounds like the opera house show is a Coachella only thing…. And that the rest of the shows will have some variation

Coachella was amazing! TBH the only thing I think would be fair is to add songs from ARTPOP/Chromatica and MTN to the set list since Latin America hasn’t gotten anything since. The opera house concept is clearly universal and she can adapt it to anywhere so I think that will be the case.

The Todo mundo no Rio and TVGLOBO IG accounts have already teased that she’s taking it from the desert to the Copacabana beach. That should be enough confirmation that it will be the same show at its core.

+ they’ve posted about how it hasn’t happened in Rio but they’re already feeling everything with Coachella.

The Mexico shows will be the same as Coachella but likely to have less production value imo. Then Brasil gets the full experience.

I think that we’re definitely getting the same show before the tour starts and that it will probably be an adaptation of Coachella. We will have to wait to see the stage set up in Mexico to see how it will be.

My theory is that they will use the main opera structure (no side balcony’s or maybe shortened) and the rest of the props as they will be probably be using a regular sized staged without curved leds. And then, hopefully, we will get a catwalk that connects the main stage to another stage with leds like the one from Coachella for the other songs. That’s how I think the show could work the best. Obviously they can make it as cheap or expensive and as different or similar as possible so we will have to see.

There’s a lot of speculation and not much clarity. While they say Brazil will be longer I don’t see her doing 40 extra minutes there and not here or in Asia (nor would it be fair).

I’m also thinking we might just get the normal show which was amazing but I would love some extra songs or an extra act.

It's definitely all part of a big tour. The Coachella, Copacabana, Mexico, Australia dates at the end of the year, and also the dates announced as the proper tour of Europe and North America. Surely with some change here and there. But I have no doubt that the bulk of the proposal will be exactly the same (which is fine with me because you can tell it took a lot of time, effort and work, to be discarded after these first dates).

There is something that for me is the proof of this, that I think nobody detected, which is that the interludes use the two fonts present in the controversial and “rushed” poster of the tour:

Starting with Coachella, the controversial choice of the font for MAYHEM makes sense, because it evokes the aesthetics of opera. I think this gives the hint that they will go down the same line.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing, and I definitely think that they will most likely be the same. Also, the fact that Australia is stadiums but isn’t the same stage layout or poster as the first shows is an indication of this.

I agree.  Feel like a lot of her hits will be added for shows after Coachella.  Plus, I have a theory that the storyline for Coachella was abridged.

However, I feel like the rush for the arena tour indicates the creative process will be “how do we adapt this for arenas,” and not “how do we create a whole new show we weren’t planning to.”

Tbh I think a big factor might be Gaga landing an acting role in 2026.  Could definitely see her being involved in The Bodyguard remake that was just announced (although to be fair I DO NOT want this).

I hope so. I personally thought that the last act was going to be longer (I knew she would do bad romance but thought she was going to do lovedrug first and other songs she hadn’t performed). I feel like story wise, the lady in red got lost in the story and that’s the act where it would make more sense to add songs. I also thought she might do MTN at the IV act

i might be alone in thinking this, but i enjoyed how "simple" the HBDUWM performance was, compared to the meticulously-choreographed and theatrical rest of the show. It's just her and the skull piano, then her and the audience. Same with Vanish Into You. These moments of simplicity and direct interaction iwth the audience are a welcome breather from the rest of the visually stimullating spectacle

Honestly it was great. I don’t know why people don’t like it. The skull piano could be nicer but it works. DWAS however should be sung in full for the next shows. Vanish was also great.

I feel like the show in Brasil will be different. Longer, but with less production value, I don't think she'll take all those things to Copacabana.

Hopefully whatever she does, will be great for those attending, I just don't want to see the gheis hyping themselves up thinking it'll be the same show, and then dragging her because it didn't had the same production. If it does, great, but if it doesn't, don't be annoying, it's a free show :huntyga:

Agreed. Although I've seen a lot of people saying we can't complain about the copacabana show because it's free. That doesn't make any sense. Especially because it's not like they're not being paid for it lol it's free for us to attend. They are getting enough money to bring the whole production - even Madonna did, and her stage was way more intricate technology wise. Gaga's stage is huge but it doesn't move (like the btwb castle for example which also came in full to Rio in 2012), it's basically just screen, lights and props.

There is no way a tour production would be the same as a festival production that millions of people were able to see on YT. Plus the space, she's not doing stadium set so they would have to be different to accomadate. We know she does various sets. Trust :vegas:

GagaUnderYou

I think it will be the same show which is fine because Coachella was excellent. Similar to how Enigma was performed/shortened for the Super Bowl show & SirusXM performance. I can see her using the exact concept, with 1-3 more outfits/songs added.

Rain on Me, LoveDrug, Don’t Call Tonight, Venus, The Edge of Glory, Marry the Night, Applause, and Happy Mistake added where time allots.

the guy who made the sculptures for the coachella stage just said they will also be taking them on tour… but maybe he means tour as in copacabana mexico and singapore, not the ball, but who knows

The tour was a last-minute thing, so I doubt it's too different. That would cost more to create a new thing.

I have three non Gaga fan friends who were at weekend 2 of Coachella. They lost their sh** over Gaga's set. They were in awe.

It's seems to be universally acclaimed as a near perfect show. My assumption would be she wouldn't want to change what very much is not broken.
