Coachella: Kate Bush reference?

Okay, this is perhaps a reach. But the interlude that opens Act IV To Wake Her Is To Lose Her reminds me strongly of the track Waking the Witch from Kate Bush's Hounds of Love album. Of course not the most danceable part of the Cirkut-produced track, but the ruminations of the vocals in the beginning, the distorted deep voice, the way it enunciates the imperatives (find her, bring her to me / confess to me). Besides, it's curious that both pieces are about waking someone up from a dream. Well, I'd like you to listen to it and give me your opinion!

I am obsessed with the way she screams “wake her up” in this interlude and Waking the Witch is a slay.

I don't know if this is deliberate, but I think Gaga would appreciate that connection. Good observation.

Does anyone know if this remix is still being used on the MAYHEM Ball Tour?

Yes, it is.
