Well then you look for a different style. That’s totally fine 

if she said she was releasing a jazz album I might start being skeptical but she’s pretty clear about her intentions musically and in that lane it’s a style all her own that also suits her hyperpop-ish songwriting style. As long as the style is consistent across the art I don’t care much and she’s consistent at least, even if it isn’t your thing

Again that’s your opinion on style lol and it kinda just goes to the heart of the everlasting debate on the merits of electronic music. At the end of the day, it’s a style. You like it or you don’t but at least it’s very clearly and obviously hers so much so even when Selena Gomez buys a song of hers you can tell instantly it’s a charli song. That’s pretty difficult for most artists so whether you appreciate it or not it’s distinct and her style.

my take is that it is what it is. You can all it what you want but it’s very clear it’s going to be a take her or leave her thing and not something she loses sleep over
