Anderson123 37,460
It's my least favorite song from the standard version and I get that it has gotten some attention because of the Taylor Swift comparisons or just the super poppy production/lyrics but I'd rather have music videos for much more interesting songs. Like I don't want in a few years come back to this and see that How Bad Do U Want Me got a music video just because it was trendy for a few months when you have much interesting songs like Perfect Celebrity, Vanish Into You and even Zombieboy, Garden of Eden or Killah. How Bad Do U Want Me could be a cute little radio single like Free Woman but not something to take time to record a music video and do an entire era for, but that's just me.

No, it must have a high-budget music video directed by Jonas Åkerlund I'm afraid . "Alejandro" was a super silly pop song, and it got one of the darkest, most dramatic videos in her entire career; and it worked, cause it was well done . "How Bad Do U Want Me" fits Mayhem's theme of duality, and her current aesthetic of "two GaGas", the song is literally about that. She could totally make a gothic video for it . There's a lot of ways she can make an interesting visual narrative for the song . She could be this princess that's in an old, medieval castle, and during the song the prince that's with her grows more and more fascinated, by this ghost that's haunting the castle. She becomes increasingly frustrated by him constantly ignoring her, as if she doesn't exist, because he's so fixated on the ghost; and by the end of the video, she seemingly becomes possessed, and merges with the ghost, becoming a frankensteined version of herself, with stitches and a more provocative attitude. The ghost was her own spirit all along, manifesting outside of her body to explore the castle, and experience all the excitement that a princess isn't meant to live, because of decorum. So in the end, she becomes whole, but flawed, and imperfect . This is literally just a cheesy example that I came up with, while typing it right now . She's got a whole team of creatives to help her come up with much better concepts, and visuals. Just because the song is girly, it doesn't mean the video has to be her on a blonde wig and a pink dress, it can have depth too, the song has it, even if it doesn't seem so . Andre91 27
Vanish into you is superior but if GP has not enough taste HDYWM is fine 😁
XxBones 1,149
I have mixed feelings about it. As monsters we know it’s not the heart of the album and even her normal style. Whether we like it or not it’s gained popularity for obvious reasons. As a fan I want more of mayhem and the world she’s building with it. I feel like if she chose this it would be to please her non fans and I think eventually they will move on. I guess I want more of like the core of mayhem. Like shadow of a man, perfect celebrity, zombie boy, even vanish into you etc. but I also know it might not always click with everyone or be an instant hit. (But who knows we weren’t expecting dwas to be so successful)

We’ve already had 2 intense videos about duality, it would be cool to have a more tongue-in-cheek interpretation now. (you can all see it now, don’t lie) Edited Monday at 04:52 PM by elijahfan

It would def shock the Taylor fans lol. But it’s a nice juxtaposition and still represents Gaga.
Ziggy 11,309
It makes me a liiiiittle sad bc it realistically should be but I wanted VIY to be the next one but it didn’t get quite the same traction, sadly

I know that if she wants to, she could make it her best music video because that's what she does. She can take any song and do some twisted visual for it that no one saw coming. It's just not really a song I liked but would respect it if she decides to do something with it.

He really could do it. "Bones" feels obvious after what we saw at Coeachella, and "Here With Me" will literally speak to every LM... Could literally be a video concept for Perfect Celebrity. socotra 3,276
I think it's the smartest choice. It's the most surefire radio hit and will serve to make the era longer. Pretty telling that, despite, being 9th on the tracklist, it's pulled the 2nd most streams of the non-singles (and no shade on GOE, but it's 3rd on the tracklist and the first non-single so idk to what extent its streams are impacted by that). It'd be a good move to nail down another hit (especially a radio hit) and then release VIY in late summer/early fall. (also idk what it is but something about VIY gives melancholy end of summer/September aura; HBDUWM is pure summer) Edited Monday at 06:17 PM by socotra
ScotHML 391
If interscope do not pick Vanish Into You. I’ll be livid. I honestly think it’s one of her best records. It’s Bowie, killers, 80s synths, Sca, Pop all in one. It’s genius how she managed to make it work all with those different influences but so original at same time. Imagine the killers or harry styles singing this. It would absolutely smash so I think gaga could pull it off. It’s one of those records that’s anthemic with longevity. It could absolutely catapult her career. It’s very sumneresque and I can imagine folk in beer gardens out in summer sun in the UK all singing it together. It definitely got that anthem vibe that would bring folk together. I really hope interscipe don’t miss the ball again! It’s very current too. Please have this as next single. I do think "Vanish Into You" will be the next single anyways. My only concern with that song, is it receiving a "relatable", "toned down", videoclip, like "Hold My Hand" or "Million Reasons". If it gets an over the top video with great visuals, like "Yoü and I", then I'm ok with it. "How Bad Do U Want Me" can be the last single after it, like "Paparazzi" was on "The Fame" era HEART OF EVER-FROST
