It tells you the seller's full name in the email to let you know they're ready. All I had to do was accept the ticketmaster transfer via a link in my email. It's so quick and easy. The QR code came up super dark and clear with an active glowing square around it so I knew it was the real code and not a photo of it. I didn't bother installing Google Wallet (I didn't have a problem with internet connection) and had it locked and loaded for approaching the gate. The security guard took my phone (after it got taken out its case) and placed in a device that was like a chute and it beeped and lit up green. He dropped the phone on its exit from the chute (thank God it was ok but I had to restrain myself) and my friend's was accepted immediately afterwards. It was so easy I didn't even take in the fact they got accepted til hours later. And once you're inside, you won't need to show it again. I was so glad that all that worry was over nothing. The seller has no incentive to send you fake tickets. I looked into all the T&C's and the sellers don't get paid until 5-8 business days after the concert. This is the time you have to complain if you don't get in and the sooner you notify them, the more likely you are to be refunded. If you get in, you have to take no more action. Sellers won't get their money if you don't get in so they have to be legit. I'd suggest looking for reasonably priced tickets, they're more likely to be from genuine sellers who aren't looking to make massive profit. The good thing is, the description on Lana's concert states that resold tickets from other sites aren't allowed (including in the description when I accepted the transfer) and I got in. For Gaga, there is no mention of any restrictions around buying from resale sites so I think you should be fine. What it all comes down to is that security doesn't know that your ticket is from a reseller, it doesn't say anything on it that mentions where the ticket originated. As long as the ticket was purchased legally by the seller, it should work. It's no different to someone buying you a ticket for your birthday and then transferring it to your account. It doesn't matter who it's from or why they're sending it to you. I think those "rules" about not buying resales are just a guideline but security has no way of actually knowing where they were purchased unless they look through your phone's messages, which they have no right to do. I even heard a story from a person who said their tickets weren't scanning and the guard just let them in a side door anyway. So, I'd say go for it and good luck. Maybe let me know how it works out! Thank you so much for this, it means a lot! I’m so glad it went well for you and it’s put my mind at a bit more ease about going for a reseller ticket - I’ll keep checking ticketmaster for the time being but if it gets closer to the time and still nothing pops up I’ll try viagogo - thank you again!
