Gaga's Taste in Music

Gaga really has an amazing taste in music! But we share the same musical interests, so I couldn’t say otherwise  I’ll add to the list: AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Nicks, Paul McCartney, Slipknot and Megadeth.

Welllllll..... I've been archiving GagaRadio off Sirius and she has 2 dedicated segments where she expressly praises / talks about her earliest memories of Madonna.

 

She definitely grew into liking her, but you can tell it was after others compared her to Madge that she got interested.  She handpicked the Madonna titles on the show, I believe there were 4 Madonna songs circulating in the playlist but I'm still working on it.

Regarding my comment, I understand that Madonna became a reference for her, but I find it interesting that in this exhaustive list of tastes she didn't include it. (Btw, I like Madonna lol). I just took this list as proof in favor of what she claimed when the comparisons became more intense: that those who thought Madonna was her main inspiration and influence should pay more attention.
