Yaaaas Gaga 850
Based on commercial success of the whole era and not just album/singles sales, for me it would be as follows: 1) The Fame Monster 2) The Fame 3) Born This Way 4) A Star is Born 5) ARTPOP 6) Chromatica 7) Joanne I’ve intentionally left Mayhem off the list as the era is still happening and we don’t know what else Gaga has in store for us, but my early prediction is that it will place above ARTPOP at No.5.
Madame Goo Goo 3,791
A Star Is Born only being counted as an album by fans when it comes to discussing sales is so funny to me. In alll other conversations everyone pretends it doesn’t exist (despite having 8 amazing original solo Gaga songs that I don’t see any love for smh) Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything
The Walrus 35
1. The Fame 2. The Fame Monster 3. Born This Way 4. MAYHEM - Die With A Smile is probably her biggest hit in her whole career, so this could be argued as higher than Born This Way, and Abra might become bigger than Rain On Me in the long run 5. ARTPOP - Applause was huge and Do What U Want spent 19 weeks on Billboard hot 100, it is also out-streaming both Joanne and Chromatica 6. Chromatica - Rain On Me was huge and it had a lot of hype, but it was a bit frontloaded and didn't serve that much longevity. 7. Joanne - One of my favorite albums, but clearly the GP didn't think the same. It was only Million Reasons that became big in the end, and all other albums has bigger hits than Million Reasons I am the walrus, goo-goo g'joob
Economy 48,736
Well if you mean pure commercial success i think its clearly The Fame Was The Biggest. Only TF and BTW had 4 top 10 hit singles while in TF they charted higher and 2 of them were #1s which is her only album to do so. Its also the best selling album. So conmercially speaking The Fame is clearly her biggest If you mean when she was at the peak of her career in popularity, Id say that would be during TFM era If you mean In terms of iconic impact, id say that is Born This Way if you mean Critical acclaim, id say that was in ASIB era So i have different answers depending in what sense it is your asking.
