I don’t necessarily believe a random guy on the internet but I also think it’s probably true just because so many people have complained that only resale tickets are left. They earmark a certain number of tickets in a venue as full capacity (they don’t have to count every single seat) and once they hit that threshold they consider the venue “sold out”, but they are free to extra seats on top of that. Ya resellers don’t count regarding “sold out”, Gaga has indeed sold those tickets. It happens on every sold out tour. The angry reactions from Swifties who couldn’t get into Eras was making headlines all the time a couple of years ago. However, I don’t know if it’s tone deaf for the team to report and celebrate their success.
