This press release is so frustrating. It was pretty much sold out before they went on sale. The people/bots that bought them are not Gaga fans, the connection is with the scalpers

Probably some of the agreement that she need to say yes to to make it happen with this "rushed" tour when she said Arthur Fogel and Livenation, (ticketmaster parent company), helped her to set this up in few weeks. We'll never really know

Not when most of the tickets are wiped out by scalpers.

And not when majority of fans who managed a purchase had to pay dynamic price for it.

Billie just did an arena tour 

Sabrina Carpenter just an arena tour  

Artists can decide what type of venues they want to tour. And obviously Gaga can and has done an entire stadium tour and her pre-tour shows in Mexico City and Singapore are in stadiums and she wants to do an arena tour  

Again, until all fans were not able to get tickets to this tour, most people on here were saying how much they wished she would go back to arenas because it’s such a better fan experience at the show

Honestly I agree. The “room” is mad right now but it’s sad to me that so many people are furious at Gaga when this is business and regular concert norms for basically every artist at her level.

Where are you getting this “99%”. I am not a scalper and I got tix.  I have a lot of friends who also got tix. Yes scalpers and bots exist but it’s you’re in conspiracy land if you think it’s almost all sales are scalpers. The amount of red resale dots are the resellers and it’s not 99% of seats by a long shot.

But you can't pretend she's powerless to change something about the fact that her fans are having to drop so much money or be priced out of attending.

At this rate she really will just end up with a crowd of bored affluent people some day.

She is if she wants to keep making money.  It's a business, not a charity. Anyone who believes entertainers when they claim they are not in it for the money needs a reality check. And also these celebrities tend to not be as wealthy as they are said to be by newspapers and the media since people factor in their "net worth" but not all their expenses (which keep increasing) - lawyers, cleaners, chauffers, bodyguards, etc.

Except it wasn't sold to fans but mostly  bots/scalpers who are now charging insane prices. If actual fans were the ones that bought all the tickets and paid the original price there wouldn't be a  meltdown.
