Miley Cyrus releases “Prelude” the first song and visual from her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful available May 30, 2025. “Prelude” features Miley wearing archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, as seen on the album artwork, shot by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford. The film’s cinematography is helmed by Benoît Debie, adding to its striking visual narrative.

Miley’s second song and video release “Something Beautiful,” the title track off of the forthcoming album explores her deep connection to fashion showcasing an original custom design by Casey Cadwallader for the House of Mugler in the visual. This era marks another bold artistic evolution for Miley, blending music and film into an immersive experience.

On April 3, Miley continues the progression of releases with her first single “End of the World” from the new album Something Beautiful. Reinforcing the project’s immersive, operatic approach, these songs mark the beginning of a carefully structured journey. Each release following the sequence of the album and the film. “End of the World,” will be released on April 3 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.

What in the Chromatica I - Overture Orch is happening here? 

It reminded me when there were rumours about Gr*mes adding spoken vocals on the Chromatica interludes for DOC  and I expected something like this

Holy…Miley did not disappoint. This might be a career highlight for her. The visuals, the fashion, the sound, it's all incredible so far.

She's coming for that AOTY I'm afraid.
