WHAT is her tour plan???

I'm just wondering why they are surprised by the success of Mayhem?? It had the biggest song in the last year (DWAS) and another hit (Abracadabra). She's always been in demand when it comes to touring.

It kind of makes sense from their pov not to announce potential next year's dates when these sales are still going  so I can see why they wouldn't tell us there's another leg coming in 2026, as much as that sucks from our pov

The OP said the arena tour is just going to be rehash of her spring stadium shows…I don’t know how Gaga could have been more explicit that the arena tour is going to be a unique experience

Two things:

1. They want the tickets sold asap and telling people that they have plans to add more dates/countries will hold them off, even if it's only for 2026.

 

2. She might be under some kind of exclusivity contract with the countries/continents where she's performing the special concerts (ASIA/LATAM) and will only be able to announce dates there a certain period of time after said concerts.

I didn’t mean that Gaga said that she didn’t want to tour. Rather I’ve seen some people imply that maybe Gaga didn’t want to tour the record.

I feel like we're overthinking this lol (the Gaga stan manifesto )

The "real" world tour is planned for next year, but she was approached by people saying she should capitalize on the album's success and fan excitement by doing something this year on a smaller scale since it's a guaranteed smash. They dealt with the planning part and her team will just rework existing performance concepts and set pieces to work on the road from Coachella, Brazil, etc. 

I think we're being a bit too literal with the "2 weeks" thing too I think, where she probably means it went from no tour to "what the hell, sure" and having the dates booked in 2 weeks.

Since she's planning so many large scale performances this year, there's bound to be ideas that they didn't fully pursue but would work for a number on a tour, or things they've already made but didn't work for that particular venue or whatever. It's not like she's set to start touring next week - there's still so much time to prepare and, working with Gaga, her team are seasoned professionals when it comes to putting new ideas together last minute when she changes her mind 

I wish the tour promo (and Brazil, etc promo) had a bit more spice but tbh I think this is what she means by "minimalism" and not just doing things for the sake of it (as in, why take a day to plan, a day to shoot, a day to edit, when you can just reuse something that already exists and focus on the actual content of the performances)

this is what I was concerned about in another thread, but was given crap for it. it seems like one of those rush jobs that hasn't been wholly up to her (which has happened to her time and time again!). I'd just really hate for her to look back on this era in regret and negativity if she wasn't given adequate time to plan & execute exactly what she wants to do.

I mean, it’s more than possible that the arena tour is a pared down version of the stadium shows and all of the rhetoric is just PR, but I guess time will tell

She never said any of these. All the things you know are speculation and wishful thinking on the fans part. She literally only said one thing, that is very clear, on a tweet. And the rest are fans picking her words apart

“I wasn’t planning on touring THIS year” makes it pretty clear that she was probably planning to tour the album next year, tbh. As far as making promises about size and scope, a lot of that is def conjecture based on rumors and some vague comments she’s made and/or comments she may have liked on TikTok lol

It is slipper slope imho, the one that I am mostly confident for now is that she will announce California dates for this Maayhem Ball 1.0, if this is indeed an ver 1.0 after Coachella, the rest is still up in air until it isn't

The IG post states the tour wasn't planned. And that its been drawn up on short notice. 

Which is what I said.

As for the staging. The copacabana beach show will absolutely use an arena scale stage with a box cover just like Madonna and every other show did there. 

The seating diagrams available for Mexico City & Singapore also when compared to other stadium tours make it really obvious they will be scaled up arena sized staging with a box cover just like TCB.
