Is a “brandcast” a new word that we’re all supposed to accept as if it’s always been a thing?  Is it to avoid using the word “broadcast” because it’s YouTube?

This is YouTube’s version of the TV upfronts… where TV networks showcase the new shows they are going to have coming up… but for YouTube we have YT creators, NFL execs, and a musical act to showcase the platform. It’s not live streamed as it’s not a public event but just for advertisers, she may record the performance like Billie did to upload later. Likely she will sing 2 songs, I’m guessing Abra and DWAS. I will be there and can report back!
