Can confirm this doesn't work, for the last couple of shows I've tried to get tickets to (as recently as last month) it would auto-detect that you're logged in to multiple devices and it would kick you off of one of them. It can also kick you out of your place in the queue entirely and send you back to the end of the line. For one show TM even locked my account because I guess I was refreshing so much that it thought I was a bot I wouldn't risk it. Stick with one device.
