PartySick 150,853
What's one line or set of lyrics that you think really stand above the rest? Joanne is by far my favorite album but my favorite lyric actually comes from the underrated Born This Way gem - The Queen I will fly on the Challenger across the sky Like a phoenix so you can remind them of The dream I bore Growing up on the space coast gave me such an appreciation for space exploration. It's really one of the most worthwhile endeavors humanity has ever undertaken and this lyric brings to mind the drive we all have as humans to be curious, creative, and to dream big no matter the risk and no matter the sacrifice 🧡Should go home but the party wants me🧡 1

Roughhouse Dandy 10,143
Fr though, I know its not the most deep set of lyrics but "I'm the pearl to your oyster, I'm a babe/ I smoke marlboro reds and drink champagne" shaped my life choices in my party era down to bleaching my hair 😭 Impossibly c*nty. I can't help but give them their flowers. Edited Sunday at 09:35 PM by Roughhouse Dandy This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss. 1

ActualPatient 1,374
I have a few that I feel are her best because they resonate and I am at awe with the artistry! For lyrics that are hauntingly blunt and beautiful. while definitely written as a metaphor, this helped validate my atheism: Got no salvation (No salvation; Got no salvation) Got no religion (No religion; my religion is you) [Teeth] --- My favorite sad one-liner: I'm gonna drink my tears and cry [Government Hooker] --- Most beautifully and tragically relatable for me: Baby loves to dance in the dark 'Cause when he's looking, she falls apart [and the entirety of Dance in the Dark especially that fckng bridge]

A lot of lyrics lend themselves to human nature. Like this one it gives me the visual of a bunch of beautiful souls coming together just to take part in the most human thing: creating art and having a good time. 🧡Should go home but the party wants me🧡
