Not people throwing out the “GP friendly” allegations when HBDUWM and Garden of Eden exist. Those arent even my favorite tracks but you have to recognize that they’re the top album tracks right now. 
 

I’ve accepted that the GP isn’t ready for that NIN fantasy just yet.

Gen Z still have their heads up whisper pop’s and rap’s asses.

I am also glad, she mentioned how she regretted not following her instincts with her choice in the past. It’s a fantastic song on a fantastic album and a nice break from the intensity of Abracadabra - it also won’t take away from it as it’s a very different type of song. Everytime I look at the image on the blue-vinyl version of Mayhem I keep thinking this is part of Vanish Into You.

For “sound changing” single after Disease/Abracadabra I consider Don’t Call Tonight better than Vanish Into You but most of ppl wouldn’t be prepared for that conversation.

Then, other better options would be certainly Perfect Celebrity for that angry MV / Shadow of A Man for that classic / elegant MV / Garden Of Eden for that fun, sugary and POP MV.

i dont wanna be that person but whatever single she chooses will underperform since its post album, if a miracle doesnt happen. so I would rather feed the fans and release videos which are fan favorites. which is obviously VIY GOE, perfect celebrity. cmon gagz give us the same amount of musicvideos born this way had.
