Dancer discusses being cut from Gaga’s SNL performance

i actually listen to this podcast cause I love the comedian who hosts (her brother). She confirmed later in the episode the number she was cut from was A-YO. 
 

I went back and watched that performance and I absolutely see why they went from 4 to 2 dancers. The SNL stage is tiny and they also had Gaga’s full band on stage. 4 dancers would have made things so crowded.

The dancer misremembered I fear. She was actually cut from Paparazzi. I was living on the street outside the SNL studio back then so I have a few scoops here and there.

That makes sense then! Thank you for letting me know. I actually went back to watch it and yeah they had a lot of people there on stage with Mark on guitar, Bloodpop on keyboards, Brian Newman, a couple other musicians and the two dancers. Not a fan of A-Yo and rarely listen to it now, I prefer the Dive Bar performances she did with all of them.
