Now don't y'all get your hopes up for a second album or something big, she probably means she isn't finished with this sound.

But is it going to be more industrial electro grunge or retro songs? What do y’all think?

I really think she wouldn’t want to miss out on doing hardcore industrial now when she’s been with Gesaffelstein. Or somehow keep using this sound, aka her way of making music as she is back:kiss:

Gaga even adores Gesaffelstein, she said he’s a mystery in how he does his production and that she can’t give away his way of working. She found her Enigma counterpart :queenga:

Now when Gesaffelstein was on this album, Mayhem, I can see him be the main producer on her next, just like how bloodpop was on Joanne and later was the ”main” on Chromatica.

Also, I kinda feel she kinda missed out to use Mark Ronsons full potential or sound. She won’t do that again with Gesaffelstein:bye:

Edit::abra:

I do not mean that Gaga will suddenly give in to one sound or one type of production/Producer, that’s not her way of working. That’s not her sound. She have now come to realise this again. As we see on Mayhem and what she says here.

I am aware that Producers are often there for the artist (the boss) and they lead in what direction the music should go. A good producer are able to do any genre. With Gaga she definitely makes a workplace where there is creative freedom, producers can push their sound, experiment and do something they never done before, if they want to. Which is beautiful of Gaga to be that open to the production and the ART itself.

What I said about Bloodpop being all over Chromatica after being in the background of Joanne ( Mark being ”main”) What I mean is, you could say Andrew Watt or Cirkuit are the ”main” producers (after Gaga) on Mayhem. So I could see Gesaffelstein be the same for Gagas next record. Maybe it won’t be industrial at all even if that is one part of Gesaffelsteins ”roots”.

Also if someone is a big music listener and the producer is skilled enough, you can hear elements of their work in a song. For example with Gesaffelstein on Killah and also songs with the Weeknd.

Gaga is definitely intrigued by Gesaffelstein ( as I point out way a above) she said she have waited years to even work with him… That leads me to think he might be on her next record aswell.

As she said here too, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Which I again am thinking is her sound, the way she works with music. Gaga coming back to THAT:queenga:

When it comes to collab i wouldn’t necessarily imagine Gesaffelstein just to take over and them make extremely industrial music, i think its a mistake people do in expectation of new music in general.

A collab is an opportunity for all artists included to go beyond what they usually do.

Gesaffelstein can be definitely heard on Killah but its not as heavy as his other music and I think thats great. I personally wouldnt want Gaga being swallowed up by other producers anyway, especially when she is opening her wings into music production herself.

She had great sound technicians and consistent production on this album which made it unique.

i wish her to experiment within electronic music while honoring roots of music in general, working with honorable musicians to record drums and guitars like Nile Rodgers

referencing her inspirations to pay homage and to connect with music on a deeper level, its so important because it realigns music and puts in context for future generations to understand there is a lineage when it comes to music history.

so more of her doing weird funky tracks where she can utilise her voice in a way that tony bennet taught her to.

i have really good hopes for her music, hopefully her independence from interscope comes soon and her marriage and family will give her a new sense of purpose and joy within music aswell.

I definitely get the sense she's back in that same of mind she had around TF/TFM/BTW/ARTPOP where she just never really stopped writing. Which *may* mean we get Mayhem Deluxe/a 2nd album as rumoured. Or it just may mean she's on a creative high and may get more music at a faster rate than we've had for a while.

I don't think it is a reach saying there will be an EP or 2nd album or anything. Isn't saying tip of iceberg is kinda confident and specific saying that she had the whole picture but Mayhem (or Chromatica Ball, she said the same about how Chromatica Ball inspired, still inspiring and will be more) is the start of it. So either it is only in her mind, in production, or alright done production, something is definitely coming sometime that will be amazing as Mayhem I believe, the Gaga that is very creative and passionate.

YES YES YES. I agree on this. I think Mayhem certainly is the new beginning of Gaga, a rebirth. Mayhem is almost like  a Debut but in this time. She will definitely do another part that is linked to Mayhem or something whole new, this with her being integrated in the art of music again.

I’m glad she feels comfortable with Gesaffelstein enough to possibly want to work with him again and his sound in the future, I look forward to it

Although I think it’s odd that Mayhem hasn’t been given a month to soak and people are wanting another album already :huntyga:

Exactly. On second day my mind was already working on possible topics for the new record, new sound combinations, titles:enigma: even melodies with her voice in my mind. Ive controlled myself of making a thread a bunch of times.

Lets be Honest we are Always expecting the x Monster. Even Joanne Monster for crying out loud. The Amount of content we had in 2009/2010 Will Forever spoil Is.

"Might" , but lets see, but with Mayhem, I learn not to expect anything from her, but good music.

I'm just happy she's so comfortable and fulfilled in her music career that she's already thinking about what's next

It's most likely wishful thinking but it's starting to feel like there is some smoke out there.
