She sounds tired its been 2 hours…but also just raw  when talking about ‘perfect celebrity’ and shes admitting she does *sometimes* feel *mad* at herself that she let her self get into this industry which makes sense. I presume looking back at her life earlier too, younger being addicted high to the fame as she says.

She's basically just irritated at them both asking about her wedding plans

That is absolutely fair. I think I remember Lisa Lampanelli talking about having to get a hair stylist and makeup artist to her home at 4 in the morning just to be at the studio in time for her interview the first time she ever went on.

I think it just stood out to me because she started out strong, and also that these seemed like the soft ball answers that she didn't need to really think about. But yeah, she makes it obvious she's tired, and Howards interviews, from what I hear, can be exhausting on their own.

For the sake of clarity, I think I started noticing the shift about a half-hour in when talking about The Beast, but just as a little hiccup.

Wow 4am yikes 😬 i haven't heard interview in full i just was curious to what you meant and fast forwarded You are so right! Sounds flat, irritated, & done.
To be fair shes gone on and on and on about her partner non stop in every single interview…letting him take credit, almost being in denial that shes one of the greatest artists alive right now (Fire Aid moment >saying she has nothing in her catalogue hopeful???) shes soooo talented! So I was happy that Howard really was praising her and fan girling so hard!! he wanted to know her full process

Great interview.

Gaga is at the point in her career where she doesn't need to do set things to sell her album anymore...if she didn't want to be on Howard Stern she would have told her team that and they wouldn't have booked it in the first place. She's there because she wants to be there and I think it's genuinely one of the best MAYHEM interviews we've had so far. Loved hearing every minute

Dude used to be THE shock jock. The Howard Stern that Gaga is talking to is incredibly professional. He's a 70+ year old, old-school New York radio personality; Gaga knows what she signed up for. She's neck deep into an album promo, she's been performing a lot, and she's most likely filming videos as well as rehearsing for Coachella/her mini tour thing after being away from this kinda grind for a hot minute. I believe they start rolling at 7am on his show. 

The interview we got was great, everything considered!
