Jill 29,486 Posted 14 hours ago Share Posted 14 hours ago I was just listening to some early unreleased songs and realized that Oh Well gives me the same vibes as some Mayhem songs, a kind of suburban, joyful sound that feels very NY-esque and (kind of) captures a slice of "teenage rebel" (but at the same time adult) life. The furthest I get is lifting an older melody as a callback/reference a la Fashion of his Love, but I just can't remake an old song for some reason, it always feels like a karaoke version (). Maybe Gaga feels the same way. Editssss: but I agree, Mayhem feels very "vintage Gaga".
