Like this, to me, had some of the best comedy of all 3 seasons in that it was LAYERED so much so the show could pass as a drama. But at some point the layered humor this season was like caresses, you know, the ones that are too soft or light, they just feel like tickles. Then, the ending puts the foot in it. To paraphrase your previous comment, after nine edging episodes, I just felt that ending like a ruined climax.
