sara57 2,996
Lady Gaga is on the mend following a lengthy and painful battle with fibromyalgia. “It’s very under control. It took over my life for a long time, but I’m 95 percent better,” Gaga, 38, told The Sunday Times in a profile published on Sunday, March 9. “I still have pain days, but they are very rare. I feel lucky.” She added, “People do not always make it through the career and the success that I have had. They don’t always get to the other side, given how it can affect your mental health and body. But I did.” Full article: https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/lady-gaga-gives-candid-update-on-her-painful-fibromyalgia-battle/?utm_campaign=true_anthem_usweekly&utm_content=photo&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwY2xjawI6-PhleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHVKe1qeTZUCwVM6qhdd0wuzHw65mD-QxJsxma6Mr0I_BY1qeIAZWz5l7bQ_aem_TsR7mXldsLrFzelpry-SaQ 1 1

I thought this is an uncontrollable uncurable disease It is uncurable, but it's not uncontrollable. Adequate management of it can help to minimize the symptoms in some people, luckily Gaga is in that group

SlaeUrAnus 15,779
It is incurable, but it’s manageable, but the battle is finding out what works best for you. My sister has fibromyalgia and hasn’t had a painful episode since she started exercising, taking cold showers every morning and anti-depressants. In my messy era. I thought that was kinda obvious https://linktr.ee/jamalholt 3 1

My sister has it too, and it’s a very tricky disease indeed. Some days she’s amazing, other days she can barely sleep bcs of the pain. She’s on a lot of anti depressants and other medication. She works out too but can’t overdo it bcs the smallest wrong movement can send her whole body into a state of immense pain 2

I thought this is an uncontrollable uncurable disease A lot of chronic illnesses can improve if well managed despite not being cured Examples: - asthma - ibs - chrons disease - diabetes None of them are curable yet you can reduce the symptoms and severity considerably 1

Not everyone has that. Former First Lady of the United States. Now card-carrying member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
