I know Gaga hasn't presented herself as a super big outspoken feminist but the times she has spoken up in her music, it's always been magic. And Shadow, I sense, is a culmination of this. Just look at the language she uses in Scheiße: I wish that I could dance/be strong without... . Then we could go to Free Woman with: But if I'm gonna go for it...I'm not nothing without...I'm still something if... . And now with Shadow of a Man she finally confronts it firmly with: I won't be used for my love and left out to cry... I don't wanna fade/be... I'm about to be there... I'LL DANCE IN THE SHADOW OF A MAN!!!!! I can already hear her NOW DANCE YOU M*THERF*CKERS! So let's dance and continue supporting this amazing woman! PAWS UP!
