Like P!nk wrote, recorded and uploaded Irrelevant in the space of about 2 weeks and put it out quickly thanks to streaming. 

There has to be something legally preventing Gaga from dropping the odd old b-side onto official platforms. 

Probably legal issues to do with Troy Carter, he probably would have to be credited as an exec producer on the album it was on and compensated. 
 

My guess is legal issues are the real reasons behind us never getting older music from that time either released officially or reworked (plus we know her contract states that Interscope gets the final say on if she can reuse old songs recorded in Interscope funded recording sessions)

Princess Die is a great song imo, one of her best, maybe THE best, and all we have is a couple of captured live piano performances, imagine how good it could be if it was given the full treatment. So yes, absolutely it deserves to be released in terms of its quality, but imo she just can't. The song is a suicide note. She can't release it.

I wouldn't say they/we're necessarily being fed, rather we're being told more explicitly why we can't have any more food
