Her delivery of the verses are everything. It transports me back to my teenage years and evenings in dance school. An absolut highlight, this one! It's nice to hear that "I just need a dose of the right stuff" on those Harlequin images had a purpose in the end and I do like the verses, it's nice to hear a pop song that has genuine maturity. oslo 245 Posted March 12 Share Posted March 12 I'm obsessed with that song for three days. It is so, so good. It sounds like a classic, something out of the 80's, the chorus is infectious. I love the pace of how she sings the words, I absolutely love the guitar, the chords, the Daft Punk-esque talkbox in the Right ear, the synth,... This is one of my absolute fav from Gaga. In my top 5 probably (not that I ever thought of any Top 5 before ). It's simple, yet impactful, truly a gem. [I have to say I had mixed feelings about Mayhem for a few days after my first listen, but now I feel like I am able to appreciate it for how it is, after letting go of my previous expectations.
