I really don’t understand the difference between saying that a song doesn’t sound catchy to me and expressing my critique in a more vivid way by saying it sounds like it was written by AI. Both are valid criticisms.

Why should I hold back from criticizing something I don’t like? If others can write essays about why they think the snippet is good, I don’t see why I shouldn’t be allowed to express the opposite opinion, even if it’s just a snippet.

So, expressing opinions in an appropriate manner is considered spreading negativity, but directly calling out a person for their opinion, and implying something about their mental state by mentioning medication used to treat serious disorders like panic attacks and depression is not?

Ooor how about we dont come here to be a negative nancy and if you dont enjoy the song just avoid commenting on it? Like we should be celebrating new music, if you dont like it thats good to me, I'll still sleep at night but just dont come here to trashtalk a song and an album that isnt even out yet.

Both are invalid to me anyways, although you are at right to ask whoever called you out or said you should treat illness / take medicine / whatever, for an apology, cause they owe you one.
