i mean this is of course a premature take since its only a snippet, but I was expecting some element of each song to hit hard wether it be interms of production, vocal delivery, or lyrics. Or a mix of all those things. She said in the rollingstone interview that Mayhem is hard hitting so thats what im basing my expectations on. Im not getting any of that from this snippet. Im not expecting each song to sound like the last, but something with a bit more rizz 

“Hard hitting” is such a vague and general criterion though. From what we heard in the snippet, the production sounds great and her vocal delivery is insane. It sounds like it’s ripped off straight from The Fame, which has a very specific style and vocal delivery. The fact that she was able to go back to that in 2025 is impressive imo. We’ll have to hear the full song of course, but this is “hard hitting.” I don’t know what more you want.

It’s playful and almost glam-rocky. I’m not sure if I’m going to like it or not but… who knows! She can surprise me. I think it’s only fair to give my honest opinion once the full song comes out on Friday.

100% agree. The Fame is slapped all over it; especially the way she sings the 2nd “I’ll t-t-take you to the garden of eden.” It’s so refreshing to hear a more modernized spin on the style I fell in love with. 😍

I know it's just a snippet, but since the full song hasn't been released yet, that's all I can comment on. And based on what I hear, it seems even worse than Stupid Love, which I already think is the worst. I hope this song won’t be chosen as a single because it’s going to be a massive flop.
