We're getting a new Gaga album in 2 days and we're rehashing details of something that happened in 2011–2012? Both Madonna and Gaga fans need to come back to earth. Neither of these women care about this.

She’s actually known for her dry sense of humor.

madonna look it up GIF

Different strokes for different folks... but nah, she's never been funny.

She is one of the most self-serious & humorless celebrities to ever exist.

More power to her, though. She has many other admirable qualities.

& she's the Queen of Pop.

More like Madonna assumed Gaga was going to be a flash in the pan and didn't see her as a real threat at the beginning. But then she kept getting hits, tour success, praise, Grammys and getting bigger and bigger and when her fans started calling her the queen of pop, the gloves were off. Madonna has always seen her fellow female singers as rivals. Any who she tried to be friends with (Britney, Christina) were just temporary moments for PR. The negative things she's said about women over the years is many and varied, especially those who were in direct competition with her at the time and stealing media and public attention that she felt she deserved. She's not said anything against female singers ever since the whole Gaga debacle and it could be she's finally realised that this bitterness is not a good look on her, hence why she tried to make it up to Gaga by taking that pic with her on Oscars night. Gaga being the kind soul she was, went along with it but nothing more was ever said or done together again, so I like to think she just gave her a wide berth after that.

Madonna's just going to have to accept that Gaga has stood the test of time and has (and will) match/better some of her achievements. In future, it's best to just keep your mouth shut before publicly dissing someone as you're only going to look foolish if they stick around.

I totally agree, but what I find really sad is that madonna stick with her sound and style for decades. Gaga would be so much better artistically today if she kept going with ARTPOP, the act II, the glam album etc. It's sad because by the time madonna were 15 years in, she still had in her. Gaga kinda lost it for 10 years and I'm not sure if she's fully back with Mayhem or if its a goodbye thing before the marries and have kids and don't commit to "Ga Ga" anymore. It's sad. And I'm not saying this because I prefer Madonna, I'm saying this because I wish things were different with Gaga.

Judas is coming. Let the cultural baptism begin.

Chilidish egomaniac lbr :abra:

That reminds me with her poor tribute of Michael Jackson's death at Billboard Wimen Of The Year Award

Every time I see that clip of Madonna saying my queen is reductive, my heart aches (as a little monster, and for Gaga). Honestly, Madonna owes Gaga an apology. I could never listen to Madge's music 'til she does that, I'm sorry.

Okay?

But Madonna did change her sound. That's where she got the title of Queen of Reinvention. She dabbled with RnB, electronica, disco, dance, reggaeton, etc. throughout her career so she could stay relevant with every time period and trends. As for maintaining success, it was much easier to stay successful in the 80's and 90's, when music was spoonfed to the public, there was much more limited choice of who to listen to, radio dictated popularoty and whatnot. The public having choice and calling the shots has meant more artists have a limited shelf life and stars aren't staying around as long as they used to. It's amazing that Gaga's still as popular after 17 years, many newer names have already faded away. I don't think she'll give it all up after Mayhem, she's stated many times that music is where her passion lies the most. I think she'll be like Madonna and still keep her career going even after marriage and kids, Gaga's not happy when she's not able to work, you can tell. Back in AP days, I feared her time was up but she turned it all around and just keeps developing her legacy, she's not going anywhere.

The moment I saw Madonna endorse Kamala Harris via Instagram was the moment I decided to vote Trump.

I refuse to support Madonna or anybody affiliated with her until she publicly apologies to Gaga and pays reparations

I also became republican because of Madonna, I personally organized the January 6th "attack" (as the dems/Madonna fans call it), SUFFER MADGE!!!:vegas:
