She explained it mostly as they look alike (to her), the setting of the video and it being a little grimy but at the same time artistic. Something about their commitment to performance being similar too, but it was mostly visual comparisons. 

The sports car video immediately gave me gaga vibes (circa bad romance) like the part where she's covered in mesh.

But I think tate is great, I might not like every song, but not many are doing it like her in this moment (actually dancing and preforming)

Sports car is on repeat next to abra for me lol
