I assume that was because she was doing the Dive Bar shows at that point. She said previously that she wasn't going to run herself into the ground doing promotion after BTW/ARTPOP, so she's way more selective about where she performs and how these days.

Yeah this. More strategic with promotion I imagine. High effort, low-medium frequency but high reward. So only selecting a few slots with high audience numbers or with the likelyhood of a viral moment. Also exposure on its own is also a really effective component. In the public eye and being talked about, not necessarily over playing or performing what you’re promoting. Something like SNL 50 so people know she’s around. It all adds to the strategy

I am so happy that she is doing this. Yes, many people still watch TV and im glad that she is doing it. She is doing traditional or old ways of marketing, and new and trendy ways online. She is reaching out to a wide demographic.

I hope it's not just a one on one interview, i like her seeing her with a panel, on the couch with them. And i sooo miss her grand entrances and performances. An interview with GMA is actually a good indicator for me that things are going well for Gaga and her team in terms of album era promotions.

We are so not ready for next week guys, i pray that we survive or.... die with a smile  Mayhem is really coming!!!!

Unemployed people that wake up early enough lol, and it's on alot in businesses/doctor offices while people wait, so many will see it even if they don't actively seek it out to watch. Also it probably has more reach since many people don't have cable anymore and it's free lol
