Easy 5,285
This is a sad news for us Asians. Singapore loves doing exclusive deals. Does that mean she won’t be performing in my flop city? I hate the fact that my city just spent billions on a new stadium for it to be played by has been local idols who are in their fifties. You know people who know nothing about music and was popular for their looks. So far they have only booked Coldplay and some other local acts. At least make a deal with some international stars like how the Singapore government does it! 1

Alfonso 1,459
Didn't Taylor also do Tokyo shows? Why can't gaga do both, Japan and Singapore? I really wish that if she comes to Mexico it will actually be a part of the tour and not a normal show. I'm also very anxious since there's only so much time left until April and I would much rather have her come in the end of the year, but let's see. Unless everything April-May is the same thing and the tour starts in Paris with an entirely different show. Drop it
lilboyblue 4,300
Would hate this for our other SEA besties, especially Thailand and Philippines who thanks to their local queer cultures have contributed to keeping the Gaga reverence alive. Would cost them about $200+ more just to watch in Singapore if indeed exclusive. Edited Thursday at 01:31 AM by lilboyblue
Scarlet Witch 1,180
I doubt it’ll be true, unless they are saying May 2026, this year seems impossible, it’s 2 months away
TEANUS 13,944
If Singapore has an exclusivity deal maybe it’s avoided by these concerts being a one-off thing if this is true. Like she just has to have whichever show she does perform in Singapore to be exclusive to them in that region British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS
LG2008 4,091
If this is true, can we get a part 2? or a video of her reacting to it

Just like Era tour. She still performs in Japan. The reason they do it? Money. Those shiny tourism money. The SG government been wanting to be the main tourism destination in Asia, and they have done a lot to achieve it, including their world famous state of the art airport, and it works. Jakarta is impossible, the new elected government brought a lot of economic woes to its citizens currently, most people can't find jobs or have enough money at all. Concerts will be out of the question for now. The K-Pop acts often visiting that place but even them recently are avoiding Jakarta as one of their Asian leg stops. Moreover, since majority Indonesians are Moslem, Gaga is known as Zionist there currently, especially since she said nothing about Palestine. If you go to Indonesian twitter, you will see enough of them. Indonesians who afford it would rather go out to Singapore and enjoy their shows without interference. And Singapore is popular destination for them, many Indonesians actually go there for the weekends. For eating good foods, go to concerts, even to buy new smart gadgets. I assume Gaga will do a stadium tour and we don’t have a stadium. Philippine Arena is huge but adjustments have to be made for staging like they did for Coldplay. Sometimes it makes more sense to go to SG. I’d rather have that than deal with a flat venue or trek hours to PH Arena.

But you can't compare a tour like the Eras from Taylor to Gaga, to be honest. We know she feels much better than before in terms of chronic pain, and that's why we are expecting her to push things a lil more, but that will never translate into doing a 100 dates tour To me it seems like artists have a huge issue with being on the road 24/7, and not so much the show itself. A big part of the cost of doing these shows is the expedited delivery of the stage across the world, and doing multiple shows in one spot could solve several issues. Artists had a huge issue remembering where they were on the road when moving around every single day, so I could guess that doing 6 shows in the same city alleviates that a lot. And doing 6 shows in the same city also alleviates expediting delivery of the set across the world. I think this could solve a large part of the issue for Gaga. TAIPEI 2,333
just saw the news (rumor) all around today, if true its in SEA only, which means no dates for manila, bangkok and even other southeast asian cities that she never visit before. she's definitely will be in japan, perhaps tour dates in korea, hongkong & taiwan potentially. but i doubt it will happen since the shows holds in may and not start to sale tickets from now even theres no any infos. also the article says concerts in may its not part of tour so who knows?
