My name is Jesse Sikora (HORRORHOLIC from Gaga Daily) I just wanted to take the time to let you know I sincerely wish you a full and speedy recovery and to tell you how important you and your music have been for not only me but my son Jack. Being born in 1979 I grew up in the 80's listening to the likes of Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Madonna etc... artists who always seemed larger than life. There are always exceptions but I felt the whole mainstream music scene for the most part had become boring, and predictable. That is until you brought back everything that made me a fan of music in the 1st place. The talent, the theatrical showmanship, the controversy the "ART" When I 1st started listening to you I was going through the darkest period of my life, long story short, I was an emotional mess and extremely suicidal. Eventually things started to get a little better and I really want you to know just how much you and your music really helped me out during that time. It was my son who actually got me to start listening to you in the 1st place (isn't it usually the parents who turn their kids on to music ? ) I became a huge fan right away. I bought all the albums, watched all the videos and even searched for as much of your early and even pre Gaga stuff. I still think Master Heartbreaker and Rock Show are some of your best songs :) So I took Jack to the 2nd Toronto show and we were both completely blown away. It was only his 2nd concert ever and all he kept telling me all night, during and after the show was that I was the best dad in the world and it was his greatest night ever. Words could never describe how great of a feeling it was to hear that or how much I appreciate the effort you put into each and every performance. With this recent news and the fact the Toronto snow storm could have easily caused the shows to be cancelled that weekend, I feel that much more grateful we were able to see you. So I would like to once again and from the bottom of my heart thank you again for all the entertainment over the years and wish you the best of luck in the future. Get well soon and try to take it a little easy on yourself once you recover. Knowing what I know about you that's probably easier said than done ;) Oh and one last thing. I heard you sometimes lurk on Gaga Daily, if so this is the picture of me I use and also another picture of me and Jack.
