Y’all supported Halle Bailey as Little Mermaid but not Rachel as Snow White?? What do y’all expect her to say? She is trying to save the picture from those who are coming for her based on the color of her skin. Don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t look good AT ALL, but don’t be coming for her like that. But even if it is dated, you can't just change the whole thing and still call it Snow White  The main theme of the original tale was (racist) beauty standards set for women. If Disney weren't comfortable with even an updated take on that, then this wasn't the story for them to modernise

Retellings are always new versions of classic stories. This isn’t anything new really. Snow White and the huntsman is one that made major changes while still being a Snow White story. People loved that film. 
 

this one, from what I’ve seen. Has barely made any drastic changes.

Well there's some conservative sentiment on here too, unfortunately. And it's now popular to shade her because she spoke her truth about the original source material. Her being honest with her feelings + taking Disney opportunities + theatre energy means people feel entitled to treat her like garbage.

I love Rachel Zegler. She was amazing as Lucy gray in BOSBAS. I definitely won’t be going to see this in theaters or pay for it but once it comes to Disney+ I might give it a go. She doesn’t deserve the hate

Snow White might be my favorite Disney film and I would’ve loved to see a live-action version as a kid. However, I have virtually 0 interest in seeing this film…
