Do you start from Disease when you listen to Mayhem on 7th March?

We are less than 10 days away from Mayhem. How do you want to listen to MAYHEM? Are you patient enough to start from Disease, then Abracadabra, then continue with the album?

Or do you go straight to Garden of Eden out of curiosity.

Or do you randomly choose songs that you're eager to listen like Zombieboy, Notorious Being (Perfect Celebrity), and Dance in the Shadow (Shadow of a Man)?

Do you finish your listen with Blade of Grass?

True albums are designed to be a musical journey, and are meant to be listened to from beginning to end. You don't start a movie 20 minutes in. So ye for the first experience I'll start with Disease then Abracadabra just like Gaga intended. And I bet the songs will take on a whole different scope in context with the rest of the album.

Step 3. Instruct my partner not to disturb me for one hour.

Step 4. Make sure the tissues are in place.

Step 5. Have moisturizer ready - dry skin is inevitable due to the incoming tears.

Step 6. Lie down, headphones on.

Step 7. First, listen in stereo, starting with Disease.

Step 8. Second, listen in Dolby Atmos.

This! I'm also restraining myself as much as possible given TikTok and other social medias algorithm to not listen to any of the 3 songs for now just so it'll have a nice clean fresh first listen.

Oh ye same! I know we should be streaming the f*ck out of Disease and Abra rn but I don't wanna get tired of them before the album is out
