And then I discovered SAWAYAMA and kept coming back to it. It really spoke to me and inspired me. Core memories listening to Brightest Blue by Ellie Goulding. I remember being so excited to buy the physical CD in Target that summer. Spent a lot of time with NFR! by Lana that summer too - though it had come out the year prior. Disco by Kylie Minogue is my favorite album of hers and it was also such a delight to listen to later that year. Honorable mentions include Future Nostalgia (though didn't really get into it until 2021), Velvet (Adam Lambert), Apart (Léon) and Evermore.
