Also some ppl think that "Hollywood’s a ghost town" is in this song and... It would make sense if my theories are right. The ghost are the public images, it also implies that they fade. And I love how it can fit to the current Hollywood context of many celebrities being exposed for their vices. 

Some ppl also think that "Choke on the fame and hope it gets you high" is a part of the song. I feel like this would be absolutely genius if "Perfect Celebrity" makes the satire of her early pop songs about fame.

I thought that lyric was a reference the bedroom ceiling scene in American Beauty. I have a feeling the song plays on the same concepts of the "true self" and the "public self" from that movie.
