Lets pray it holds The left being at 8-9% despite the polls saying 6,5-7%. A (small) win. ZDF (who had the AfD at 20% at 6pm) now put them at 19,8%. Die Linke with close to 9% is huge, they were gone for a very long time with a lot of intern fighting. Second good news is FDP and BSE most likely being out of parliament all together is great as well, both are extremely disruptive and not productive in any way shape or form - so them having a timeout (speaking for the FDP, BSE can die) is also great news. They can block a lot of big decisions of the government when they get more than 1/3 of the seats. I hope the FDP (Liberals) will get in. Well but it's actually important that the far left is in, because CDU, AFD, FDP (Christian Lindner said how amazing it would be be to have a just right parties and no left parties in the parliament) all are Right parties, and even The green and SPD are not in the middle anymore, but leaning more towards right. FDP is a very dated and non functional party under CL, extremely polemic (just two days ago in their statement relating Hanau). Supporting countries that get attacked does not make a party a "war party". It makes them democratic & fighting for liberty. Of course the Greens want the votes of the lefty voters for themselves. Who's being vague here? I just gave a reason on WHY the AfD is currently strong and what could have been done to prevent that. I don't think that map is too unfamiliar on here: https://www.humandignitytrust.org/lgbt-the-law/map-of-criminalisation/ Countries like Afghanistan and Iran have the death penalty as maximum punishment for gay activity. There are people fleeing from that. We need to help them. But there are also people from these specific countries that support those punishments and Germany currently doesn't monitor the migration close enough to keep everyone safe and abide by current, existing laws. The culture in the Middle East, for a large part, is not compatible to our western civilization and we don't do willing migrants any justice by not making sure that their enemies don't tag along.
