Did Gaga Ever Talk About Ukraine or Palestine?

I really love Lady Gaga because of her music and artistry but what got me coming back were her heart and activism.

That being said, has she ever spoken up about the wars in Ukraine and Palestine? I remember Billie Eilish wearing a pin asking for a ceasefire in Palestine and I was wondering if Gaga at least did something similar.

I also don't want to believe she's a Zionist like how some people are claiming.

She's never made any current statements on it. The Zionist rumors came from when she said something like "I love you Israel" after performing there... like a decade ago, wasn't it? And it was just a generic statement she makes at the end of all her shows. I'm sure she wasn't making a political statement when she said it.

I guess that's fair. I was just wondering because she was always so outspoken and timely with her statements like with COVID, the election, trans erasure, etc.

I’m a firm believer that celebrities should not be expected to be activists. They are human beings like all of us with nuanced opinions and various degrees of knowledge about a topic. She’s always been outspoken about LGBTQ+ rights and she always will be, but this doesn’t mean she’s expected to speak out about everything.

Of course, she may have her own opinions on Ukraine and Palestine. But she chooses to stay quiet because this issue is out of her hand and, perhaps it will only bring backlash no matter what she says. Knowing Gaga, she would've probably want to condemn the killing of civilians from both the sides, acknowledging October 7th attacks followed Israeli attacks on Gaza. She might personally dislike both IDF and Hamas. Then both the sides would be unhappy with her and drag her. This same thing happened with Rihanna when she gave a similar statement. So it's better for her to keep her opinion with herself.
