homophobia and racism was and still  is strong in high school.

but the shift to more centric left views and more acceptance usually starts when these young people are going out of their parents house and their community and blend with more centric left people.

 

but right now because of social media and the controlled algorithms things are changing, they are trapped in their own algorithm and "personlized ads", watching youtubers and others that feeds their minds with disinformation and propaganda, they have no life or opinion outside of this bubble.

No. But if you're uneducated, you've been exposed to less stuff that encourages you to think critically about the world and what you're told. Hence the large majority of MAGA people in my opinion, unless they're businesspeople looking for a tax break, are uneducated.
