Apparently Playboi Carti will release his VERY anticipated album after 5 years of hype. His fans are rabid and he has grown in star power lately A LOT. He is also a Interscop artist...why would Interscope allowed this?

Y'all need to understand something...me, and I think also many other members here DO NOT CARE if this will be a huge chart topping album or not. I dont care if its the worst sold album in history as long as I can enjoy it. And so far, I have ENJOYED. 

Do we really need all this fuss about numbers and stats? Of course its nice to see her successful and she really would deserve it, but honestly I dont care. I just want content that makes me happy and feel connected to her.

of course! I dont think mosnters care a lot about numbers because after all we stan Gaga and she is not some huge chart topper all the time. She has many flops on the charts as well as many mega smash of course like DWAS BUT the issue people are having is that her own Label would allow something like this. That is what is crazy. It has nothing to do with who goes #1 but more to do with how much a label respect her. Why would they allow another artist to occupy the zeitgeist when it is a artist on their label as well?! It's insane. She is the queen of interscope...they should treat her as such

I want her to get the 1# album, to make it her 7th album in a row to achieve that, and it's not that I "want" it, more that she deserves it and it will add to her legacy.

Though, carti last album "just" did 100K first week, unsure how bigger he is now and how much of a threat he actually is.
