Yeah, I don't disagree. It's definitely in poor taste and quite tone deaf. It just shows that she wasn't really interested in the empowerment, she just wanted to make the song and thought that'd be a good topic.

Her music doesn't come off as all that deep anyway. More platitudes than real meaning so I don't take her stepping over the line very seriously.

Gaga's music is deeply personal and she's taken on so many tough and serious topics with the seriousness needed. She's still flawed though but I can forgive her for that (for myself, lady probably couldn't care less what I think ).

Most of the evidence was not released. I think some of the texts were but not the witness testimonies, emails, etc. The judge dismissed the SA suit saying that there was no compelling evidence- the longterm suit was a defamation thing which I think she probably also would've lost

Bowie himself admitted that he did so many drugs that he rarely checked if they were an adult. He was so remorseful over it that he donated a lot of money to SA relief funds but idk, it doesn't change the fact that he did it.

One of them was a 14 year old child model. 14 when they met, idk if she was 14 when they had sex. 

I don't know of any other specific stories but yeah, Bowie basically admitted it.

Once again, Perry and her team are refusing to take any accountability and continue to play the victim card. If she could just own up and say yes I made a mistake then I think people would lay off her a bit.

The difference being that when someone was exposed for what they were Gaga cut off all contact with said person and made a huge public apology. Even going so far as to delete their collaboration from ARTPOP, she didn’t even replace the song with her Christina feat.

Gaga has literally never continued working with someone after heinous things were found out against them. The latest example being Richy who got canned after what he did.

Having said that I couldn’t care less about Katy. She can get hate she can get love I don’t really care but when people try to do whataboutism using Gaga as an example it just doesn’t make sense to me
