the lonely island medley was beyond iconic. i LOVE andy samberg and the whole lonely island era. this was so nostalgic and amazing to see for snl 50. lonely island was MAJOR back in the day. the fact gaga was pretty heavily involved in this, it's a big deal in pop culture. i'm so happy this is what the performances were

Michael needs to remind her that the world fell in love with her not only because of her music but her stage persona, theatricality, the blending of camp and technology during live performances. I hope she has good performances in store for us. Sometimes I feel like she's afraid to be too ambitious because how she was dragged through dirt. This show is not televised and is only available in the US streaming services, so there's no point in promoting Mayhem songs there. I already had a feeling that she won't perform any Mayhem songs and promote her album, it's going to be just a celebration of 50 years of SNL. I expected this to happen but anyway it was a good performance.
