Yes! Apparently it’s Latin, but because so many languages are Latin based, I bet a lot of people get it once they realize that’s what she’s saying. I figured it out based on what I learned in Spanish Class in High School (which was hundreds and hundreds of years ago!)

Please not another thread claiming it's Latin for "love Gaga or die" :smh:

Technically she just used random words that kinda translate to "love" and "death" in Latin languages, but a quick check will tell you that none of these languages uses both of these words.

Honestly it's like when I want to say something in Spanish and I just use the French word and add a final "a" :air:

Portuguese uses “amor” and “morta” on a daily basis.

What are you even talking about? These are THE words that like, any latin language uses for the word "love" and "dead". More specifically, Portuguese because these are literally the words for "love" and "a dead woman" in Portuguese. I should know 'cause I'm a native speaker of Portuguese. So, I think you are the one who needs to do a quick check. lady gaga smile GIF

Just because the fragments are connected to Latin roots doesn’t mean it’s not gibberish lmao. That would be like saying because the spoken interludes in Scheisse include words in German and Spanish that it’s not gibberish.
