Is “Mayhem” an actual character/alter ego?

I’ve seen many people referencing “Mayhem” as a character meaning that both the lady in a hat and a cane in Disease and the lady in a hat and cane in Abra are the same person but am I crazy or Gaga said to Elle magazine they are not the same? Did I miss something? Is Miss Mayhem a thing or nah :abra:

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

well the HAUS (Frederic, Sarah,...) have been commenting "Mother Mayhem" under Gaga's post so I guess in a way it is ?

Yes, I think so. Mayhem represents the darkness and chaos inside of her embodied into a character in both MVs. I love that she's bringing back these alter-egos.

Imagine if Mayhem appears on the tour. That would be exciting.

I think the character in the music videos is meant to be symbolic of inner chaos or “mayhem”. Will be interesting to see if she makes a reappearance in future music videos

I think the color of the character changed in both videos to represent different innner voices/struggles, but the character per se represents the concept of internal monologue.
