According to this article, synovitis = arthritis. I dunno.

Emma said she does have a condition that is more treatable than lupus and is likely causing her joint pain. It sounds like arthritis to me. Apparently there are over 100 different types of arthritis. Hopefully she doesn't have rheumatoid arthritis, probably the most damaging form. To learn more: http://www.ncbi.nlm....lth/PMH0002223/

Got arthritis myself in my knee(am 28 and already have it for 4 years after a work accident). And doesn't matter much what kind of type, the more you move it, the more damage you get there, in the end the cartilage disappears and then the bones will. It won't be really painful in the beginning but it will get worse in the end.

Wow, you people with. "I was gonna see gaga at btwBall and blah blah now I wont see her"

I will NEVER see gaga because everytime she does a tour here in sweden, she does it TOO far away from me, or it is too expensive.

You people even be lucky that you had tickets and even had the plans to see her, i will never see her, and now I hear about this and the surgery.

My heart is crying, even if my eyes isn't.

I pray, even if I don't believe in God, and I hope, even if i am hopeless, and I wish even if it doesn't turn in, that Gaga will return from hospital healthy and with stronger energy, and also that some fans TELLS her that she is more important than the born this way ball and the new music, her HEALTH comes FIRST.

Gaga just called me personally to let me know that she's doing okay (but in a lot of pain) and she wanted to thank me because "you're making me brave."

That's amazing

And no, don't even ask for the number, cause that ain't happening.

As crazy as some of us are, I doubt anybody would bother

Oh, I'm so sorry for you! Going to the BTWB would have really helped you, and believe me, I understand how divorce can make **** go down... It happened within my family and I would always make excuses not to go home in hollidays and weekends so that I wouldn't have to bare with all that sorrow and hatred.

I agree that Gaga doesn't deserve this and that she's an extremely passionate and caring person, but the thing is: it happened, and we need to deal with it and use it as an opportunity to grow stronger and more confident in ourselves and in gaga. She would want us to do so.

Don't let this disappointment or the problems within your family take you down. Try to see how you can make use of them to improve yourself, otherwise they will have happened in vain.

You can always come to GGD if you ever need to vent about something. It's safe here

I'm actually happy that she has cancelled these shows, I feel for all the Monsters that have been affected by this but Gaga is only human, she needs so much rest and it'll be better for her and all her fans in the long run if she's healthy and well rather than finishing the tour in pain and unhealthy

Gurl, I think your problems have little to do with Lady Gaga. You just focused on her so much to avoid thinking about your issues in life.

You need to talk to somebody. Ask your parents if they can afford you a good psychiatrist that you can talk to and who can help you deal with all this pain you have going on. Trust me, you went through a lot and you can't deal with it on your own. If you can't afford a psychiatrist, try talking to somebody in your school or looking up your local groups that deal with teen depression.

Well, Pop is partially right, but I thought your post was BEAUTIFUL lilmonster1986, and I'm sorry you withdrew it.

You probably do have more to deal with than you can sort through right now, and some counselling might help. But everything else you said was totally true and understandable, and I agree 1000%! It's perfectly normal for people to have some event or vacation or whatever they are looking forward to, and to use that as a goal to help them keep their chin up in bad times, and then to be crushed if that falls through.

It really does suck that Gaga looks like just another hollow pop star to anyone who doesn't care to pay attention. She deserves so much more credit than that.

It really does suck that a lot of fans will miss out on seeing this show.

It really does suck that Gaga is hurt at all.

But trust me lilmonster1986, from someone who is older, life will crush our dreams sometimes, but it will also surprise you with wonderful dreams that come true. You'll get your moment in the sun. Hang in there!
