What Do You Expect "How Bad Do U Want Me" To Be Like?

This song title sounds dramatic and mysterious and like it will probably be a highlight on the album. Based on what we know so far, how do you imagine it?

The song's synopsys on Genius: "Based on the title, the ninth track off of Lady Gaga’s seventh studio album seems to be about her desire to become her own individual, not bound by societal pressures, she’s tired of all her other variants"

It is also track 9, and those are usually her more unique songs which stand out on their respective albums: Swine, Black Jesus, Plastic Doll.

When I saw the title I immediately thought of Do What U Want. I can see her giving the same message but from another perspective, a positive and real empowering one; redeeming herself from that situation. I do believe she is in a right place to endorse the mess that happened with the song itself and everything around it

Title makes me think it will be a sexy bop about making a man work for her love.

But knowing LG, it could also subvert my expectations and be a ballad.

Hoping she doesn't release any more snippets/teases between now and March 7.

It would be so nice to have the remaining tracks be total surprises on release night.

The strategy for this album seems to be to build anticipation in more subtle ways so I think she won't. We will find out only in March.

OT: idk tbh !! There are some song titles on Mayhem (Vanish Into You, How Bad Do you Want Me, Dont Call Tonight) that dont make me think of anything. Like I really dont know if theyre light or dark songs. She did say that every song is very hard hitting so in def curious

Plastic Doll is factually unique on Chromatica. It is the only one with a proper chorus.

The use of just "U" in the title as opposed to "You" makes me think it'll be a more fun tongue-in-cheek song, kinda like Why Did You Do That? but that's probably just cuz it's also a question

I have a feeling it’s going to be a good surprise. Titles like “How Bad Do U Want Me” which are uncommon for Gaga tend to make me feel meh about them and this happened with Do What U Want which was the least I was excited for when we got ARTPOP tracklist and ended up being my favorite. 

I do think the sound of it will be completely different to Disease and Abracadabra. Kind of like Aura, Venus and GUY going into Sex Dreams. I think it will have more guitar and sexy bassline.

She said the album sound is more "rock and bowie inspired" in the 2nd half of the album so for sure
