Very good yes! I’d say they’re around the same with regards to top 5, although I have a feeling something like roar or blank space may have sold more than poker face - by the way these videos were my reference  no idea how truthful they are

Chart success yes, but the impact still cant beat Bad Romance level honestly. Back then my 2 years old niece even recognize BR with that iconic Rah-rah-rah and Gaga-ooh-la-la line showed how BIG the impact of the song was towards all the generation. DWAS is indeed a mega hit but the youngsters didnt recognize the song at all.

Maybe not yet. Most people I know don’t recognise it, and the only reason I do is because I’m a Gaga fan and certain snippets of it are in TikToks. Maybe eventually, though.

Its difficult to make an exact comparison since Poker Face came out at a time when a lot of music consumption was still digital sales and youtube views

 

Since then Poker Face has still racked up streams into the billion figures and it is consistently still her most streamed song (if you exclude recent releases)

 

But DWAS  has become so massive that its probably fair to say its surpassing Poker Face as her biggest commercial hit ever?

 

 

I have an excel which calculates several things into total point count of all Gaga singles (including streaming, sales, chart performance on 8 biggest music markets, official certifications, longevity - weeks on chart etc.). According to my calculations DWAS is her 5th biggest global hit after Shallow, Poker Face, Bad Romance and Just Dance.
