I don’t want to hear how “both sides are the same”. We knew what would happen if Trump got elected. We are seeing those consequences of not voting or voting third party. They had the responsibility and duty to keep a wanna be dictator, felon, and fascist from returning to the Oval Office. This is what they get now. Yeah, but that’s also why organizing to effectively keep a fascist out of office is important- so that protest can remain at least relatively safe. I’m not coming for you personally, but it’s wild to me to think there were genuinely people out there who wanted to vote Green or abstain from voting to “punish” Harris for Biden’s foreign policy, only to help the ascent of a fascist who is not only looking to ethnically cleanse Gaza entirely and allow Israel to fully annex it, but to also create a domestic climate of fear that would potentially prevent people from protesting that decision.
