the only one that I'm excited about is Gesaffelstein tbh bcs I've been manifesting that for years.

I really hoped for The Weeknd, Peggy Gou, Arca, or some newer underground names given the fact that she was going for an industrial sound/inspiration

But I'm not complaining, still happy with all the songs we got from this era !

Less ideas from too many minds makes the music more truthful and honest from her point of view, I think. Her previous albums are amazing but they all feel like they're so worked on, like a Michelangelo sculpture. I'm so happy that finally we get something that feels a little bit like babies with adult faces in medieval paintings. The acid bass is already doing that for me in Abracadabra. It could be a fat-velvetty bass sound designed to the core, and worked on for hours, but no, she decided on a simple standard acid bass, probably a preset. And I love that. I think a small team makes that stuff happen more, it is about the music, not about the producers trying to prove themselves and doing the most to impress, but, as she says, doing what the song needs.

That doesn't mean some songs are not from sessions with other people that she finished and wrapped with Watt and Cirkut though. Let's not be surprised if some names are popping in the writing credits 

Watt is an amazing producer I wanted him to work with Gaga since he made Plastic Heart for Miley.

Gaga is a great fit with Watt and Cirkut. The three songs we had are fire

I agree. Cirkut is the type of producer who would spend hours picking the perfect EQ or sample the best sounding instruments but he doesn’t over do songs with layers. Music that hits people usually don’t require a maximalist approach but a “less is more” and detailed approach. I think that’s why people like Finneas, D Mile, Dr Dre etc make music that people resonate with.

Yeah this team Is Fire. I have no doubts the whole album Will be Just as good. Im very Happy for Gaga since She and Paris seem tò be a great fit and the producers clearly worked well with her.

Could be but since the album got delayed to add DWAS I can assume that maybe the Deluxe got pushed back too
