Honestly, the fact that the chorus lyrics say "Morta - ooh - Gaga" as in the Goddess of Death is the fractured mirror version of Venus - GODDESS OF LOVE. This song is crafted so beautifully. It's funny to me that the Chorus is the least favorite part as of now. Cuz usually that's what gets stuck in peoples heads. But the ear worm is literally every other part of the song. GENIUS. its so ARTPOP, but without the mess.

It's tough to pick but for me it's the verses. I love when lyrics are in the imperative mood, it's so strong.

Second place would be the bridge, I love the allusion to Phantom of the Opera (whether it's intentional or not)

Hated the Paris snippet, but now that part (post chorus) is my favorite. Bridge is great, too.

Verses are decent. I prefer the lyrics to the production, there.

The chorus chant just deflates the song for me (but I like "in her tongue she says, *death or love tonight")

Specifically the second time she says “the floor’s on fire” the way she SHRIEKS it is heavenly especially with the right headphones but GOD the whole song is perfect.
